DON’T DOUBT GOD’S WORD
MAIN TEXT: ROMANS 10:17
“So then faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the word of God”.
Psalm 118:8 – it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
You may doubt your own ability, but never doubt God’s word, or his promise, and his willingness to fulfil them. Psalm 138:2 says” I will worship towards thy Holy temple, and promise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth, for thou has magnified thy word above all thy name”. God has placed his word above every other thing in the universe. God expects that we fill our minds, with his word, and speak it daily without doubt. We should trust in the word of God, and not in our self abilities.
We should not portray I can do it all, or know it all attitude. Proverbs 28:26 “He that trusted in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered”. We must embrace the word of God and run with it for a life without defeat and reproach.
The word of God, is God himself and cannot lie it stands sure, and is Yea and Amen. We should centre our confidence in God. Beloved, what has God said to you that the devil is attacking with his words? Stand up in boldness with God’s word and knock out the devil immediately.
