LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE
Main text: Matthew 5:16 (KJV) – “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven”.
Isaiah 60:1- Arise, shine: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
When your light shines before men, it means that the word of God in you is giving light to men and leading them to God. For you were formerly in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, walk as children of light in the Lord. Beloved, do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them. It is disgraceful even to speak to the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything becomes visible in the light. Beloved, for this reason, you should “Arise from your sleep and slumber for Christ’s light will shine on you. You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill cannot be hidden, and that is who you are. Therefore you are charged today to arise and let your light shine for the glory of God has risen upon you. Acts 13:47 says, “For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying. I have set thee to be a light of the gentiles that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the end of the earth”.
Prophesy this to yourself: “while I am in the world, I am the light of the world”.
WALK WITH JESUS FOR YOUR LIGHT TO SHINE.
Prayer Point: Oh Lord let my light shine for your glory to be seen in me.
