WHAT DO YOU WATCH

WHAT DO YOU WATCH

MAIN TEXT: DEUTRONOMY 22:8 (KJV)

“When thou buildest a new house then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence”.

Jobs 31:1- I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

The will of God for our vision is to use our eyes to see our bright future in Him. The eyes can lead us to our blessings or damnation. Through the eyes, we can receive God or satan, it depends on what we fix our eyes on. We mostly become or always think of the things we fix our eyes on.

Erotic sites are being introduced in their hundreds to the internet. The idea is to have you exposed to them accidentally through clever marketing. This helps explain why Adults and children become addicted to watching pornographic films. So protection is not just called for, on the part of parents alone, but by all those on the front line in the battle for moral purity. In his book “Getting through the tough stuff”, Chuck Swindoll wrote that “One Nine out of ten children have been exposed to it most of them accidentally while doing homework online.

The Bible warns against the lust of the Eyes. Most are exposed to it through computer screen pop-ups, unsolicited emails and links to websites with innocent sounding names.

The eyes always enter into a place before we really go in, if we think they are just for sight and claim that nothing will happen. It is just a deceit from devil because you are gradually entering.

Temptations come through what we watch and therefore calls for caution.

CENSOR WHAT YOU WATCH FROM NOW ON.

PRAYER POINT: May my Eyes not lead me into temptation in Jesus name amen.
