FOCUS ON YOUR MISSION
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 37:4
Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
2 Chronicles 15:7 – But as for you, be strong and do not give up for your work will be rewarded.
Beloved, the major message you should hold onto today is that you must be strong and do not give up because your work will definitely be rewarded. Why did the scripture use the statement, “Be strong”? This is because challenges will come and storms will rise to either destroy us or the work we are doing but we must be positive in action and our thought. The daily challenges could be from internal or external; it may come from those we trust or those who are our real enemies, it will hurt our emotions but we should never allow anybody to distract or stop us.
Do not give up. We are not created to give up on problems of life or the attacks of demons. Rather they have every tendency to give up on our strength and wisdom. To be focus on our mission requires wisdom, patience and strength especially from within us. Have a positive mindset that we will make it even when all around us is speaking failure.
We can achieve these only when we delight in the Lord in all matters of life. Do not believe that God should handle the big matters and you handle the small matters without God because Satan can make big troubles from the small matters. Walk and work with God.
