Don.t Be a Hypocrite

Don.t Be a Hypocrite

Main Text: Matthew 23:13 “But woe unto you scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites: For ye shut up the kingdom of Heaven against men: For ye neither
go in yourselves neither suffer ye them that are entering to go”.

Isaiah 3:10 “Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall
eat the fruit of their doings”

A hypocrite is a person who pretends to have moral standard or opinions that he or she does not have. He is a pretender with deceitful behavior. You say one thing and mean another thing, or do another thing. God says in the above text, woe unto them or cursed be upon them. Beloved of God, may it not be our portion in Jesus name Amen. “Even so, ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of Hypocrisy and iniquity” (Matthew 23:28). The word Hypocrisy should not even be mentioned among believers.

We should live a life without spot or wrinkle. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and wisdom is the principal thing. To enable us excel in life. A life of
Hypocrisy will make God to withdraw from you or step aside from your life
affairs, God forbid. God says woe unto the person. If you are the light of the world, let it show in your conduct, character and behavior.

SERVE THE LORD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.

Prayer Point: Holy Spirit of the living God, guide me in all I do in Jesus name
Amen.
