I AM HEAVENLY BOUND
MAIN TEXT: JOHN 14: 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.
MARK 4: 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was great calm.
Peace is the state of being free from oppression, unpleasant thoughts and emotions. It is a state of being free from violence. Divine peace is the peace that comes from divinity. It comes from God, it is the Godlike peace. If you want to receive divine peace, you must love, trust, obey and surrender your life totally to his (Jesus Christ) Lordship.
The troubled sea had calmness and peace because it had contact with Jesus as he (Jesus) and his disciples traveled on it. The man who had his dwelling among the tomb with the unclean spirit called legion came in contact with the prince of peace who rebuked the violent spirit out of the man and the man had divine peace and calm. This peace is not like the one any man or nation gives. God gives divine and eternal peace to your soul, body and spirit.
When you have this peace and the devil tries to destroy it by way of trials and persecutions, you will rejoice and count it all joy to be a partaker in the suffering of Christ, laugh and declare to its face I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVETH. Receive the peace of the Lord now! In Jesus name Amen!
