WE HAVE ACCOUNT TO GIVE
MAIN TEXT: ROMANS 14:13
―Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
Romans 14:12- So then every one of us shall give account to himself to God.
Every one of us will give account to God how we lived our lives. It is the final responsibility we owe God, the way we treated people, family, job and church work are some of the accounts we must render.
In the place of judging and condemning others, God wants us to leave such devilish assignment but warns us that we should not be the hindrance to one another. One can be the stumbling block to people in serving and giving their lives to God.
Our attitude to sinners might harden their hearts to surrender to Jesus Christ. We must remember always that Christ died for all, so it is His desire that people should be saved and delivered from sin and the devil. We offend God when we become the stumbling block.
The manner of our dressing and talking can hinder people from the Christ in us. People are hungry and needy of what God has deposited in us, but the way we present ourselves to them is capable of driving away such individuals. There are some protocols that God does not want too in the body of Christ. Let us wisely allow people to access God even in the church and among Pastors, it is a great blessing to us if we will abide
