TEACH YOUR CHILDREN GOD’S WORD 1
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 ” And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk to them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.
In this world of today, we hear a lot of things happening to people and by people. We hear of wickedness and evil. Does that make us not to multiply as God had commanded through child bearing?
The answer is No. How will our children escape this corruption and evil in the world? The bible said in Proverbs 22:15, “Folly is bound up in the heart of a child but rod of discipline will drives it far away from him”. Most children that grew up into adulthood and exhibit evil, check their foundation, it was not built on the knowledge of Christ. There is an adage that says “catch them young”.
The devil knows how pure and innocent the heart of a child is, he sows seeds of evil into them right from when they were little that was why in the scripture Jesus keep saying ” let the children come unto me”. No child is too small to hear the word of God. As little as they may look, they can lie, steal, and pretend.
No child is too little to hear the word of God. Ephesians 6:4 (TLB) “And now a word to you parents. Don’t keep on scolding and nagging your children, making them angry and resentful. Rather, bring them with the loving discipline the Lord himself approves”.
THE WORD INVESTMENT ON YOUR KIDS DOES NOT FAIL
Prayer- Oh God, help and deliver my children from the evil oppressions of the devil in Jesus name.
