BE A SOLUTION GIVER
Main text: LUKE 6:38a – Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom.
PROVERBS 11:25 – A liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Today, we are looking at all spheres of giving and not such monetary or financial. Jesus gave us a practical example of what giving should be in the parable of the Good Samaritan. We must not postpone the good deeds of today till tomorrow. We must be quick to give especially, when it comes to projects that have to do with God’s kingdom.
God is telling us to be a solution giver. From our main text today, a giver never lacks anything good. Someone ones said, being a millionaire doesn’t necessarily mean that one will start giving rather, give according to the measure you have received or being blessed. Rahab gave the men of God (Joshua and Caleb) a room in her house and she received protection and salvation when destruction visited the land (Joshua 2:1).
God demonstrated that financial giving is not the only form of giving when He gave His only begotten son for our sake. He gave the ultimate gift of all for the redemption of mankind and today, we have a hope of eternal life. There is an attitude that we must portray when giving in order to be rewarded by God.
Many people even in the house hold of faith give to be recognised and rewarded by men but that is not the right way to give. The bible tells us that when we give, we should do it discretely. When we give, God requires we give cheerful. Be a solution giver today because you don’t know what door it will open for you.

Prayer point: Lord, give me the heart to give so that, I will be a problem solver to those that are in need in Jesus name.
