LIVING BY THE FAITH OF CHRIST
Main Text: Hebrews 11:1-2
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, by it the elders obtained a good report”.
Hebrew 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”.
From the main text, faith means, being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even, if we do not see it. Without faith no one can please God. Faith is a confident expectation, a belief without need of evidence or certain proofs. Mark 11:24 affirms that, when he says ‘Therefore, I say unto you what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”.
When we live by the faith of Christ we are placed inside of what He is. We live in Him, inside of all He did. We believers become some extraordinary beings, and it comes from what Christ is. The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
Life’s greatest adventure is to believe God. Doubts and unbelief gets us nowhere. Faith is a fertile ground in which God grows His plants. Faith is a mutual act between God and us. Abraham, the father of faith believed God and God counted it to him as righteousness and he became the friend of God. Like everybody else, he could have doubted God. Remain blessed as you re-charge your faith batteries on daily bases.
