I AM NOT AN ACCIDENT

I AM NOT AN ACCIDENT

MAIN TEXT: JEREMIAH 1:5

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. (NIV)

EPHESIANS 2:10

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV)

Accident according to English dictionary definition means any chance event. Who says I am an accident or you are an accident? Accident is any chance event and I did not come to this world by chance. Even if my parents were not ready for my conception and birth, they had no choice because God, the author of life, he who decides who should be born, where to be born into, when to be born and the assignment to be done for him had already decided my coming.

If God Almighty has said that before and after I was formed in my mother’s womb, he knew me and in advance prepared specific assignment for me to do when I am born then who has the right to call me or you an accident? This simply means that it is not in powers of my parents or any other person to decide when and why I should be born. It does not matter what they think or say, what is important is for me to know what God’s plan and purpose for my life is and work in line with it. God has given specific assignment for every environment I find myself; in my family, community, work/business place, school/class or church (Eph 2:10). In carrying out all these assignments, God has promised in Isaiah 46:4 to sustain and rescue me till my old age.

Joseph and Virgin Mary were not ready for babies yet God brought Jesus Christ our saviour to reconcile man with him and because of this birth, we can now cry Abba Father.

I AM NOT AN ACCIDENT BUT AN ASSET TO GOD AND HUMANITY

PRAYER: Oh Lord my maker, help me by your Spirit to achieve the purpose for sending me to earth that man may know that I am born by your divine mandate not an accident in Jesus name. Amen
