HAVE QUALITY TIME WITH GOD
MAIN TEXT: MATTHEW 14:23
And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone. (ESV)

Can a virgin forget her ornaments or a bride her attire? Yet my people forget me days without number.
God created you and I for his own glory. He loves to fellowship with us and uses us to show forth his power and glory on earth. Everybody whether big, or small, rich, or poor, God gave the same 24hours a day, seven days a week and 365 or 366 days a year to enjoy and worship him. The million dollar question is, how many hours do you make out in a day, week, month or year to be with God your creator who knows your past, and future or are you too busy to care about him?
Has sin, T.V, social media, work, business, school, your better half etc. replaced God’s place in your life? Are you too busy to pray? You cannot forget to pray or pray when it is convenient. You cannot be that great theologian, quote the bible from Genesis to Revelation or become that great person you want to become if you cannot pray. You must bleed, sweat, and endure in violent prayer to God daily. You can spend time with God in meditative prayer.
No matter how crowded your schedule is, you must make out quality time daily to pray to God. It is you who will create the time for time will not create itself. Despite Christ’s crowded schedule of teaching, preaching, healing, feeding and caring for the people, he still made out quality time, separating himself from others to be alone with God in prayer and he succeeded in his earthly ministry.
QUALITY TIME WITH GOD IS QUALITY POWER AND ANOINTING FROM GOD
PRAYER: Oh Lord God, may nothing replace my time with you daily in Jesus name. Amen!
