THE WALLS HAVE FALLEN

The priests blew their trumpets again and the soldiers shouted as loud as they could. The walls of Jericho fell, then the soldier rushed up the hills, went straight into the town and captured it. (CEV)

A wall used to prevent intruders, trespassers and restrict movements. I do not know what has posed as a wall of limitation in your life. Is it sickness, financial lack, childlessness, lack of anointing, untimely death, insecurity, joblessness, academic backwardness, ancestral curses, faulty foundation that has limited your life? There is good news for you today. Today’s devotional topic brings a message of hope, that the author of life Jesus Christ has taken care of every wall of limitations in your life through his death and resurrection. He nailed them to the cross and said “it is finished”.
As soon as Jesus Christ died on the cross, the wall that limited you from divinity fell down flat and Jesus’ resurrection and ascension into glory ushered in God; the Holy Spirit in your life and now God lives in you instead of a building made by man.
Know who you are in redemption and speak your redemption for there is power in your tongue, believe your freedom for that will please God and rebuke the devil and he will flee from you. The children of Israel listened to Joshua and obeyed God’s instruction to walk round Jericho wall for seven days which made Jericho wall to fall and Israel gained access into Jericho (Josh 6:20).
OBEDIENCE, COURAGE, PATIENCE AND FAITH IN GOD’S WORD WILL CAUSE EVERY WALL IN YOUR LIFE TO FALL
PRAYER: Almighty Father may every limitation in my life fall and remain fallen in Jesus name. Amen!
