BUILD ON THE SOLID FOUNDATION
Main Text: Mathew 7:27 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.
1 Corinthians 3:11 – For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
The word ‘foundation’ can be defined as the ground work of anything which provides as a stable base of super structure. In other words, the tendency of a building not to collapse over the years (during rainy and sunny days) is determined on the type of foundation that was made underground .The same is applicable to our Christian life. Jesus is that solid foundation we ought to build ourselves upon. And the time we identify ourselves with Christ, marks the laying of our foundation.
During this time, what we feed on or believe about Christ or our Christian faith determines how strong we tend to be over the time when our faith is tried by the challenges of life – Psalm 11:3. It’s not enough to answer a child of God, but what is paramount is laying a strong foundation in Christ Jesus through giving a worthy service to God and maintaining a fervent prayer life in righteousness. A lot of people are experiencing one misfortune or the other due to the faulty foundation that was laid by their parents, grandparents and great-grand parents. Are you a victim of such foundations?
Say no to such foundation now! As you make Christ your solid foundation.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, I deliver me from the curses of faulty foundations and enthrone me .
