SEE THROUGH GOD’S WORD
Main Text: Psalm 32:8 – I will instruct thee and teach thee in thou way which thou shall go; I will guide thee with mine eyes”.
Psalm 118:9 – It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in Man.
The word of God is our compass; it directs our minds to the truth when the lies of the enemy are readily available. It wraps us with security when our future is uncertain. When we see through God’s word, it enables us to pull back into God’s presence when we lose focus. The word of God is life changing, life sustaining and life giving. It leads to joy-filling when you see through God’s word, and God’s word is a guard. See through God’s word to keep you from straying, it offers free counseling. God’s word is the best kind of counselor and it guards us against the trap or devices of Satan. To pursue God above our own interest is to find the gratification we are really looking for.
Finally, seeing through God’s word, grants us freedom, it brings comfort in affliction, it gives us reasons to praise God, it offers us hope while we wait, it gives wisdom and understanding and lights the paths we should take.
GOD’S WORD IS EVER RELEVANT IN ALL GENERATIONS
Prayer: O Lord as you give me the hunger for your word, Always direct me through your word in Jesus name
