ABIDE IN GOD’S SECRET PLACE
MAIN TEXT: DANIEL 6:10
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime”
PSALM 91:1
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”
The secret place of God is a place of prayer, and worship. It’s where the secret things about life and God’s kingdom are revealed. In other words, a man that dwells in God’s secret place is powerful, rules the world, and untouchable by the enemies because God reveals secrets to him and empowers him.
Daniel understood the essence of the secret place of the Lord in his life and couldn’t entertain any fear going by the decree that was written and signed by the King that was against the law of God (Daniel 6:5). Any man that dwells in His secret place speaks with boldness, and is more than conqueror. At the end of Daniel’s test, he came out untouched by those lions; rather his enemies were consumed by the lions (Daniel 6:24). What a might God we serve!
The level of your faith in God’s word, determines the level of your relationship with God and how long you dwell in His secret place.
Finally, the days are evil, it is only those who abide in the secret place of God that will finish well, and be wonders to their world.
THE SECRET PLACE IS A DIVINE REFUGE THAT SHIELDS THE CHRISTIAN BELIEVER.
Prayer: O God, May I abide in your secret place forever. Reveal every secret that I need to prosper in Jesus’ name. Amen
