LET NOBODY DECEIVE YOU
MAIN TEXT: Ephesians 4:14 – so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
1 Samuel 12:21 You must not turn aside, for then you would go after futile things which can not profit or deliver, because they are futile.
Trials might make us question whether God has deserted or failed to remember us. At this moment anxiety and despondency might be your main companion. Be that as it may, the Holy Bible calls Christians to remain on the bluff top and view our trials according to God’s viewpoint.
A steadfast person in Christ knows what he believes and cannot be “tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching”. An unmovable person can hear false teaching, engage doubters, and defend truth without it shaking his own faith.
There are many encouraging words that come from the word of God when we hit our low points. I would suggest this to be one of the first places to run to when you need that extra push to stand back up and start fighting again.
AS YOU WAIT FOR GOD, KEEP YOUR FAITH AND HOPE ALIVE WITH GOD’S PROMISES
PRAYER: Spirit of God, strengthen me and give me grace to endure till I reach my land of milk and honey in Jesus’ name. Amen
