SALVATION BY GOD’S GRACE
MAIN TEXT: Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Ephesians 2:4 – But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.
Sin pollutes and perverts—it is an attack on God’s greatness and glory. Humanity is designed to bear God’s image, but sin always attacks the glory of God and taints the image of God. God gives man, who believes in Him, the power over sin and restores His people with glory.
There is no reason to wait until we get to heaven to experience the fullness of God’s grace. He wants us to live abundantly right now. From the moment we are saved to our last breath on earth, God desires for us to be intimate with Him and flourish exceptionally.
Grace is God acting to redeem and glorify us so that because of His love alone we find ourselves seated with Christ in heaven. We must believe in Christ Jesus and walk with Him to be able to access this measure of divine glory.
MAN CANNOT LIVE WELL WITHOUT GOD’S GRACE – ASK FOR IT
PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, grant me more abundant grace in the affairs of my life. Let your glory in my life find full expression in Jesus name Amen.
