BE OF GOOD CHEER
MAIN TEXT: JEREMIAH 29:11’ For I know the plans I have for you,’’ declares the Lord. ‘’Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future.’’
John 16:33 – ‘’I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’’
Be of good cheer! God still has a plan for you. The people of Israel became slaves in Babylon because they disobeyed God and decided to do their own thing. And they paid a high price for it. They lost their homes, their freedom and their glory.
Do you have a similar experience? Well, there is good news. God says, ‘’the plans I have for you, are plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:13-14 says ‘In those days when you pray, I will listen. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord and will bring you back from captivity’.
This means that God still has a plan for your life. If you seek him with your whole heart, he will reveal that plan to you. You may be wondering about this divine plan , there is a divine purpose why God kept you alive in the midst of crises.
In case you have gone astray and missed His plan for years, that plan can still swing into operation the moment you turn your life over to God and fall into line with His will. Do not question the possibilities of the fulfillment of the plan, just believe in God. Remember this: ‘God is not a man. If He said it, he will do it’.
GOD CANNOT LIE. HE IS COMMITTED TO HIS PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN TRUST HIM
Prayer: Dear Lord, I know you know all things, I give you chance to lead the affairs of my life in Jesus Name. Amen
