RELAX IN HIM

RELAX IN HIM

Main Text: Philippians 4:6 – Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made know to God.

Proverbs 3:24 – When thou lieth down, thou shall not be afraid, yea, thou shall lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet

Years ago in a certain town, an old woman in her late 90’s arrived a wedding venue to celebrate her great-grand child’s wedding. As she sat down, her countenance changed, she was filled with tears and heartache; folded her hands in her lap and closed her eyes as though she was praying.

None of the days of such age prepared her for such a day. The plane conveying four of her family members destined for the wedding got missing on the mountains. Few hours of receiving this news, and before the bride walked down the isle, the awful and dreadful news came; the plane is found but they are all dead. What do you do or say in a time like this?

Well, the old woman didn’t say much rather, her words were strong medicine;’God has spoken’ ‘He will provide’ ‘He is in charge’. Wow! What a confidence. It is hard, isn’t it? As we progress in this second half of the year, the strong and peaceful arm of Jesus is open and available for you. No matter what comes your way, just run to Him, like that old woman. All you need is simply sit down, close your eyes, calm your inner tension, and silence your thoughts by turning them to Jesus, the prince of peace.

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

Prayer Point: Lord no matter what I encounter in life, help me to find absolute peace in your arm in Jesus name.
