NO TO SELF PITY
Main Text: James 5:13 – “ Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing Psalms
Psalm 51:12 – Restore unto me thy Joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Beloved, people who feel self- pity for themselves are not happy with themselves and their spiritual, mental and physical lives are crushed. I know you have seen a lot of people who wallow in self-pity due to, their circumstance are bad, or it may be you and you are saying that everyone hates you, you cannot do anything right, maybe your age mates are married, your business is not growing as expected due to the strength and energy invested, yet no profit nor gain, or are you that woman/man believing God for the fruit of the womb?
Beloved, say No to self-pity, at the pointed time everything will turn around for your good. In 1 Cor. 10:13 (KJV) says,” There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able: but will the temptation also make you a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it”. Rather than, looking inward (past) or outward (present) you ought to be cooking upward, the author and finisher of our faith, the heart occupy with the words of God, sing and worship God He will give the desires of your heart. Say no to self-pity today.
RESIST THE DEVIL OF SELF PITY AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU.
Prayer Point: O lord turn every story of pity to story of victory in my life in Jesus name amen.
