THE LATTER GLORY

THE LATTER GLORY

MAIN TEXT: HAGGAI 2:9

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts, and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts’’

Romans 8:18

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

What do you think you have lost? Or what do you have that makes you think you have had it all? Listen, your best days are still ahead irrespective of your experience so far. No matter where you are now, despite how rich or wealthy or poor you are now, in spite of the beautiful life you are living now, God has greater and more in store for you. The latter Glory is more comforting and deliberately bestowed on you by your heavenly Father to show case you as His own. The latter glory is a reward for enduring or suffering with Christ. So what have you suffered or endured for the Cross? You didn’t suffer in vain. You have not served for nothing.

The promise of latter glory is an indication that God has you in mind all along you were going through tough times in your life. It is God’s way of affirming his commitment to fulfill his word upon your life. God is committed to his plan to lift, promote, heal, restore and preserve you beyond your imagination.

The latter Glory is a period of rest from labour. In our second text, we read that our past and present sufferings are not worthy compared to the great things ahead. Weeping may last all through the night but be rest assured that joy comes in the morning. Morning here refers to this latter Glory.

THE LATTER GLORY IS THE FATHER’S PROMISE TO YOU

Prayer point- I reject to be stagnant, I must go higher to enjoy the latter glory in Jesus name
