THE POTTER’S TOUCH
MAIN TEXT: Luke 8:4
She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak and immediately her bleeding stopped.
Luke 8:55- Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat
Are you heart-broken? Have you been battered, shattered or wounded: Do you need mending? Then stop, turn and go to the potter. Here, the potter is no other but the God Almighty, who turns clay into a man, breathes into it and it becomes a living being like you.
He can mould, he can also mend broken vessels and they become as new. We’re clay in God’s hands. He has the power to make and unmake us until we turn to the shape he desires to have us. The potter’s touch is the power of God working actively in one’s life to make him/her the kind of person he intended them to be and fulfill his will in your life.
We need the potter’s touch to smoothen the rough edges of our lives. Why don’t you submit yourself to the potter’s touch today and see what he will make out with the pieces your life. God’s has the power to gather the loose ends of your life together and make whole lump.
Trust him with whatever is confronting you today, whether pain, sickness or even debts, at his touch your situation will never remain the same again.
