Main text: Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV)- Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)-But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass, the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The presence of God is essential in the life of any child of God. Glory signifies splendor, honour, riches, blessings etc. This implies that we will experience great splendor and honour when we operate in God’s glory. The presence of God causes you to prevail over and above every life circumstance. When the glory of God came, death could not hold Jesus Christ in the grave; the prison bars could not hold Paul and Silas from gaining their freedom; Lazarus came forth; the red sea parted and there was no lack in the early church.

God has decided to trade His glory for your shame, trade your pain for His health and your lack for His plenty. You shall not be called forsaken or forgotten but you shall be God’s chosen person. To operate in God’s glory, you need to thirst for it. As the Psalmist said, as the deer pants for water, so my soul longs after you. I want you to begin to align your mind and mark your consciousness to the manifestation of God’s Glory in your life and see yourself soar above the limits that life places on people who do not have the glory of God in their lives.
