YOU ARE A CHOSEN VESSEL
Main Text: Jeremiah 1:5-Before I formed you in the belly l know you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.
1 Peter 2:9-But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should showforth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Chosen connotes being separated, consecrated, selected, appointed or elected to perform a unique task. While a vessel talks about a container of qualities. Man is a vessel of God. Everyone created by God has been created for a specific purpose. We may not all be chosen to be pastors, prophets, teachers but we all have our different assignment on earth and that is our ministry, which is to serve God with the unique gifting He has bestowed on us as his chosen vessels.
No child of God should just pass through this world without imparting lives, making people to see Christ through us in our assignment on earth and in our daily living. The problem with us, just like everyone God called into service is that we know ourselves. We tend to see our flaws, our failures and our inconsistencies. “How could God ever really use someone like me? We ask ourselves.(Exodus 3:11) but God uses the unqualified, to qualify them and use them to achieve His purpose on the earth.
ALLOW GOD TO MANIFEST HIMSELF THROUGH YOU, ACCEPT THAT CALL AND SHOW FORTH HIS PRAISE.
Prayer point: Lord, fill me with the spirit of grace and supplication that I may yield myself to your purpose in Jesus name.
