EFFECT A CHANGE
Main Text: Genesis 18:19 – For I know Him, that He will command His children and His household after me, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of Him.
Hebrews 10:24-25 – And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching
To every human created by God is assigned a divine purpose or accomplishment. God crated us distinctively. He saw beauty in diversity. He knows that the most beautiful garden is one with different flowers and so made each and everyone of us different; such that even in our various families, no matter the level of resemblance, we individually stand out in one gesture or characteristic.
Though we have different niches in life, we invariably fall into similar fields with other people, some of which maybe blood relations, colleagues or even mere acquaintances. It is our duty to stand out as Christians and effect positive changes wherever we find ourselves or impact positively into the lives of the people we come across.
There should be a clear distinction between us and the environment we find ourselves in or the people we relate with. We should be able to create positive standards for ourselves in such a way that would impact the lives of people we come across. Our character, habit or lifestyle should build that respect that would endear people to you to know the kind of God you serve and to emulate your behaviour.
Your behaviour should be outstanding! Your lifestyle should be worth emulating, your speech should be endearing and your body language should speak volumes of who you are such that people will turn to God in total and absolute surrender.
