LIVE NOT BY SIGHT
Main text – Habakkuk 2:4 – Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith
Hebrews 10:38 – But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.
To live not by sight, calls for walking by faith. It means going to a place you do not know but you keep going because God instructed. It is obedience to God at all cost.
The system of the world opposes us to live to please God and presents to us opportunities of compromise but we must remember that the righteous lives by faith and this is the way of victory. It does not fail.
God does not take pleasure in those who look back unbelief. There is no faith walk that ends in shame. When God instructed me to resign from my job and become fully committed to His kingdom work as a Pastor, immediately I obeyed God after confirm that it was God.
So many people showed concerns and had pity on me but I did not allow their words and the circumstances then to stop me. I pressed forward against all odds and today, I am happy that I obeyed because God has done for me more than my expectations in life.
SIGHT CAN BE DECEPTIVE BUT FAITH IN GOD GIVES A FULFILLED LIFE
