MONDAY – MARCH 1, 2021
MAIN TEXT: LUKE 15:18
I shall arise and go to my Father, and will say unto him, Father; I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. (AKJV)
Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. (AKJV)
Rise up, connotes that there is a position taken that is not right and needs to be moved out of. What is it that has kept you down, beneath or below position of hopelessness? Have you not given your life to Jesus Christ yet? Is sin still holding you bound? Have you done what you ought not to have done?
Are you down casted and feel you cannot ever be forgiven? Have men, situations and circumstances told you that you cannot make it? Is your health and pocket so bad and dry that you dwell in the realm of hopelessness? I want to let you know that, it is a big lie from the pit of hell. The downward position is for Satan the devil while the upward position is for God which includes you as his child.
The main text for today is coming to you as an encouragement that you should realize where you got it all wrong and go back to your Father in repentance and confess to Him, He is ever willing with open arms to receive you back with gladness. In that situation, know that the blood of Jesus is there to cleanse you and that there is a balm in Gilead (Jesus Christ), that healing is your bread and heritage as God’s child. The wisdom and knowledge you need in life to excel belong to God. He will freely give it to you if you believe and trust Him. This decision must be taken today knowing that your position is above not beneath, you are the head and not the tail and you are the first not the last.
RISE UP, DON’T STAY WHERE YOU HAVE FALLEN, RISE TO GREATNESS
PRAYER: Oh Lord, command my rising today that I may receive strength and walk. Amen!BY BISHOP NGOZI DURUEKE (HE REIGNS CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL) To send your testimony, write us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
