WHAT DO YOU SEE?
Main Text: Genesis 13:15 – For all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your seed forever.
Proverbs 4:23 – Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life
As far as you can see, that is how far God can do for you in life. In our main text, God told Abraham that all the land to which he can see, He will give to him and his descendants. I believe that Abraham did not see all those land with his physical eyes alone but he also saw from his heart. Seeing from the heart entails seeing from the perspective of the word of God. Until you see, you are not entitled to it. An author said, ‘without revelation, there is no restoration.’ In other words, God cannot do for you what you cannot see. Seeing attracts the price of searching for revelation of what God has prepared for your life. You cannot go farther with other people’s discoveries. Success in life is not encountered on the shallow places of life. By faith, Abraham got the revelation of becoming the father of all nations. God has given you the eyes to see what you become in life.
Be courageous and depend on the revelation of the word of God than seeing the negatives of life. God’s blessings are in weights and he can’t give you more than you can carry. See abundance in the midst of scarcity and dryness. Abraham got the revelation, even at old age; he still believed that God is faithful and able to bring to pass His promises toward him. Just begin to see and confess the promises of God in your life. Have a glorious mental picture of your future. Stop waiting for things to fall into places on their own, work it out by faith in Christ. Your present situation cannot determine your future.
UNTIL YOU SEE IT, YOU CANNOT HAVE IT.
