GOD SAYS YES
MAIN TEXT- 2 CORINTHIANS 1:20
“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us?
Philippians 4:19- But my God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
In the Old Testament, God’s promises came with conditions. To receive God’s promises; there is a price to be paid. Isaiah 1:19- “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the Land”. Conditions are met, in order to receive God’s blessings.
Hence Paul writes from where we took our text “for no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘yes in Christ,’ “And so through him the Amen is spoken by us to the Glory of God.” If you are the redeemed child of God, in Christ, be rest assured that God says yes ‘I will meet your needs’. God will surely do for us, whatever he has promised. Philippians 4:19, Not only is God able to meet all our needs, he is looking for opportunities to do it.
We should therefore position ourselves to receive blessings for he is ready to say yes to our needs at all times.
