BAPTIZE ME WITH LOVE
MAIN TEXT: I JOHN 3:18
My little children let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth
1 Corinthians 13:13- And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three:but the greatest of these is charity
Among all the virtues in the bible, love is the greatest and anything we do without love will profit us nothing.
The love we are talking about here is Agape love, God’s kind of love. He is love personified. It’s what proves that we are children of God. This kind of love is sacrificial and ever willing to give out something precious or valuable to the receiver. The love of God is the greatest that we need for joy and peace. .
Therefore, to be baptized with this God kind of love, implies to walk and live out a life of love as Christ did.
Also, you must be determined and develop the heart of becoming a blessing to someone’s life on daily basis, which means you wouldn’t find fault in people that come around you but will always see the good side of them and forgive to show them practical love.
Finally we must open up to this love baptism by God so that our world will be a good place to live. God does not only want us to talk the gospel but to put the gospel of love in action that will convince people around us to believe that God is good indeed.
THE LOVE OF GOD IS WHAT WE NEED AMONG OURSELVES NO MATTER THE PROBLEMS
