I AM HEAVENLY BOUND MAIN TEXT:
Luke 12:35 – 36: Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
1 John 2:15 – 17:Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
In the book of Ecclesiastes 1:3, a question is asked “Do people really gain anything from the hard work they do in this life? It went on to say in verse 4 that people live and people die, but the art continues forever. As Christians, we are to consciously keep it in our mind that we are only here on earth for a while.
Heaven is the final home and destination of every child of God. If you are born again, you are heaven bound. In John 14:2, Jesus talked about heaven as a place where He is going to prepare for us. But in order to safely arrive, we are expected to live our lives in a way that would transport us to this place.
The first fare to pay to be on our way bound to heaven is accepting Jesus, then followed by living Holy, righteous and blameless lives. These are some of the conditions required to arrive at this destination. Brethren, I am heavenly bound, are u?
