MAIN TEXT: JEREMIAH 1:7
“Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them”.
If you are called to testify about something you have seen or that you know, it is sinful to refuse to testify, and you will be punished for your sin.
The word of God has given us the spirit of boldness to speak up on what we have seen or heard. Do not be afraid of what will happen to you if you say it as it came. Just say it, don’t add or remove from what God has said.
Speak his word and don’t be afraid because He is with you. Do not be afraid of he who destroys the body only but be afraid of God who destroys both the body and soul. A closed mouth they say is a closed destiny. If blind Bartimeaus had closed his mouth, he would have remained blind for the rest of his life.
If the woman with the issue of blood had not opened up to Jesus that it was her that touched him, she would have been healed but not made whole. If Paul and Silas had closed their mouths in the prison, the Holy Ghost would have not come down, the prison door would have not opened, and the Jailer and his family would not have been saved.
