MAIN TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 4:12
“I know what it is to be need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of been content I any every situation, whether well feed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want”.
1Timothy 6:6-7- But godliness with contentment is gain. For we brought nothing into this world and we can take nothing out of it.
I want to let you know that God created you the way you are and what you are for his own glory. He made you wonderfully different from every other person in the world with specific assignments that no one else can perform. That is how unique God has packaged you because you are his masterpiece. Therefore, no matter how God has made you: whether dark complexioned or light, tall or short, young or old, fat or slim, beautiful or you the things around you suggest that you are forsaken. Whether you are in need or in plenty, be satisfied and be grateful to God. Even if life is no more as rosy as it is used to be, still be happy and thank God for the privilege of experiencing both side because there must be a purpose or lesson(s) God wants you to learn from it. You should be contented with whatever God has given you or however he has made you. God knows you have different needs and burdens in life. He knows the right time to supply those needs and remove the burdens from you. God is a master event planner.
God is not happy with us when we exhibit lack of contentment because this can lead to greed which gives birth to covetousness.
