DOMINION OVER TEMPTATION
MAIN TEXT: EPHESIANS 1:21
“Far above all principality and power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come”.
Luke 10:19.- “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpent and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you”.
Beloved of God, Jesus is seated in heaven and according to Ephesians 2:6, we are seated with Him by virtue of our faith in Him. We must never forget that Satan is a thief and a liar. He diverts good things that are ours and will continue to do that if we allow him. God’s son, Jesus Christ came to the earth and delivered us from the power and authority of the enemy. Christ is the head of the church, and we are His body. We need to arise and take our rightful place in Him.
. 1 John 4:4 says that greater is He, who is in us than he who is in the world. Many of us need to know how much power is working inside us. Jesus did not give us a denomination or title, but power and dominion over tribulation. You are product of power. You are a power line on the earth. The enemy you have to contend with is not physical, so you cannot attack him with physical weapons.
The only way to stand against him is to resist him with your faith. “And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”. (John 5:4). You should also know the word of God. You should know more than your enemy. The blood of Jesus is another weapon to dominate the devil. “We overcome by the blood of the lamb and words of our testimony”.
TEMPTATION MUST NEVER WIN YOU. YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER
