BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY
MAIN TEXT: GENESIS 1:28a(KJV)
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it…”
I Timothy 5:8 (KJV)
“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel”
A lot of people are stagnated, in abject poverty and tossed around by the prevailing wind of economic recession because they failed to partner with God in the business of fruitfulness and multiplication.
Your ability to be fruitful and keep multiplying is the product of you being useful to God, yourself and the society at large. In other words, it does not only entail procreation of babies on the earth but connotes or reveals your relevance to God and humanity as you utilize God’s endowment in you and sustaining the other works of God (other creatures).
And when you fail to obey that commandment of God, you are worse than an unbeliever- 1Timothy 5:8.
Therefore, it’s time for you to discover those unique talents and gifts in you; produce and multiply something meaningful and needful with them for the benefit of humanity and to the glory of God. It doesn’t matter how little your beginning or resources could be, start somewhere to manifest and you will see God lifting you out of it (Deuteronomy. 38:12). Finally, when you obey, you will begin to say there’s lifting up even when others are saying there is casting down.
