WEAR THE JOYFUL LOOK
MAIN TEXT: NEHEMIAH 8:10 (KJV)
“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, ‘and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the Joy of the Lord is your strength”.
Romans 15:13 – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
A Joyful outlook gives you the winning edge, so choose your outlook each day, wisely and well. A joyful outlook determines how others respond to you. When you smile, people tend to smile back. If you want to enjoy people as you go through your day, think well of them. A joyful outlook brings happiness. Samuel Johnson said, “He who has little knowledge of human nature as to seek happiness by changing anything but his own disposition will waste his life fruitless efforts, and multiply the grief”.
A joyful outlook always brings the best result. Successful people embrace this truth and this increases your chance of success every time. So when you approach a task, especially the difficult ones, fix your mind on God’s promises and not on your feelings and God will get you on track every time.
The joy of the Lord is our strength, when we wear a joyful look we speak to the devil that our God is able to in all matters of our lives. But when you wear a sad look, the enemy rejoices.
LET THE SPIRIT OF JOY TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE
