BE THE BLESSING
MAIN TEXT: GENESIS 12:2
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great and thou shall be a blessing.
ACTS 20:35
And to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
Obedience to the word of God raises someone to a level where unbelievers cannot understand or interpret it. The bible said that Abraham obeyed God and it was counted for him as righteousness. To be a blessing does not require much struggles in life but it involves harkening to God’s commandments with everything within you, that is absolute surrender and reverence to Him. God promised to make Abraham a great nation when he was asked to leave his father’s house to an unknown destination, it is a mystery. Abraham did not question God, or go against God’s request. He moved without murmuring or complaining. Making someone a great nation means your name will be celebrated all over the world, great men and women will come out of your loins and there shall be establishment without end. When God blesses you, you become automatically a blessing to your generation and beyond. Your name can never be erased in the history of mankind. Do not let this opportunity pass you by: God is still interested in you, to make you a blessing to others.

Prayer Point: Father I want to be a blessing in my generation, teach me how to give for your Kingdom.
