TO HIM THAT OVERCOMES

“He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death”.
James 1:12
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him”.
John “the-beloved”, was passing a message to one of the churches in Ephesus. He was encouraging the faithful ones, those that have sold their lives for the kingdom of God and His work. Those that believe that at the end, after running the race with fear and trembling, God will reward them. Jesus gives us assurance of receiving the crown of life after we have overcome tribulations and trials of our faith for the sake of the gospel. In our present time no one is ready to suffer. We pray everything to go smoothly in our lives, possessing material things, riding cars but the bible advices us to seek first the kingdom of God for other things we may call thereafter to come will surface. Enduring temptation for a while has so many impacts to make in our lives, thereby bringing spiritual growth, boldness, increase in all ramification, and makes the believer complete in the service of God. The crown of life is an eternal benefit for enduring the trials in our Christian journey with Jesus Christ that is, living forever where there will be no more sorrow, crying or gnashing of teeth rather rejoicing in the Lord.
REWARDS ARE FOR THOSE THAT FINISHED WELL
