SEEK GOD’S FACE
MAIN TEXT: PROVERB 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, out his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seeking God’s face has to do with first of all abstaining from sin. You must align your thought to the will of God; casting down evil imaginations that exalts itself against the knowledge of the Almighty God. The activities of cleansing, purification, perfection of the spirit, soul and body in prayers must be upheld. Building a strong relationship with God by constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit at all times (not only in times of difficulty). God loves those that love him. He said that those that seek him early will find him. Just as King David said in Psalm 5:3a – “My voice shall thou hear in the morning… (Morning means early, on time at the appropriate hour when we are not yet old). In Ecclesiastes 12:1, Solomon admonishes us to remember our creator in the days of our youth not when approaching the grave. So many people are regretting of not seeking the face of God on time, when they were young for seeking him when young leads us to fulfillment of destiny, He reveals to us what he has for us and leads us to actualizing our purpose on earth because we are so precious to him, Jacob refused to get Him go until he received his blessings.
