YOU ARE BLESSED
MAIN TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 28:1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nation of the earth.
DEUTERONOMY 28:2
And all the blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord.
Our blessings are in obedience to God, when we obey and do the will of God, he blesses us in return. As parents, if you have a child that listens to your voice, a child that obeys your instruction, a child that seeks your advice whenever he is in a dilemma, as a parent you will be happy and proud of such a child. Whenever that child opens his or her mouth to ask for something, you will not hesitate to provide the need of that child because that child is obedient to you.
So also is our heavenly father happy with us whenever we hearken diligently to his voice, to observe and to do all his commandment, and all the blessings listed in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 shall be ours in Jesus name.
The bible says in Isaiah 1:19 if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
There is the good of the land and there is the bad of the land. Obedience to God gives us a divine connection with God. This divine connection becomes a passage for the flow of these good of the land to us. God is the controller and distributor of the good of the land. When a man begins to till the ground without God, he will till in vain. A consolidated blessing is that blessing that comes with obedience to God.
