MINSTERING TO OTHERS
MAIN TEXT: HEBREWS 6:10
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister.
Hebrews 13:16- But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Praise the Lord; we are all ministers of God in various capacities. A minister of God is that believer that has a glorious ministry upon his life. We are not called only to receive but to give too. Of course, it is more blessed to minster than to be ministered unto especially always. It is all in cycle; God is the chief minister and we receive from Him to minister to others and the cycle keeps going. When we minister or give out, we show God that there is room to fill up again with numerous blessings.
It might appear that God is not watching and recording the events around your life but remember that God is not taken unawares. His eyes are upon the earth, picking the details of our ministries.
Paul admonished us that God is not unrighteous (wicked or unfaithful) to forget your ministrations and labour of love-He that is the rewarder will reward you diligently.
To be able to minister faithfully to others you need grace because it requires sacrifices. To minister even when you may not have leftovers after you must have given your last. Whenever you empty yourself in love for the satisfaction of others, God would empty all upon you for your pleasure. God is well pleased to see us minister and give Joy to others. Keep it up and do not slack.
