GROWING IN LOVE
MAIN TEXT: EPHESIAN 3:17
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love.
Philippians 1:9-And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment.
There is nothing that should not grow, even love grows. The good thing about love is that the love of God is given to us but the challenge there is to allow the expression of this love through our lives. Do not suppress the out flow of love with grudges, anger or greed. Permit this unique love to manifest. The expression of love gives life to others. Christ must live in our hearts for this love to be grounded in us. This kind of love does not count faults and has nothing to with retaliation.
Rather our love should grow in knowledge and in all judgment. The knowledge on how best to express this love should continuously increase. God knows that there is hatred in this world yet he encouraged us to use love as a weapon against their hatred. Love expressed properly can be a teacher to so many that will receive it.
In our judgment of matter and people, this love must prevail. There should be no Partiality or allowing wrong feelings affect our judgment.
Today, beloved let your love radiate as a shining light giving direction and encouragement to many. Refuse to harbour hatred in your precious heart.
HATRED IS A KILLER, LOVE GIVES LIFE.
