BE JOYFUL

BE JOYFUL

 MAIN TEXT:     PROVERBS. 15:13

A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken. (NASB).

ECCLESIASTES 9:7

Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with cheerful heart, for God has already approved your works. (NASB).

Joy is a very higher degree of happiness. It is lasting happiness and it is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Being joyful gives the Holy Spirit a platform to come and operate in you. When the Holy Spirit dwells and fully operates in you, all doubts and fear will disappear. If you want to be joyful always, then you must embrace the word of God (Jesus). The entrance of Jesus to the world brought joy to mankind. So, if you grant him entrance into your life as your Lord and savior, joy will take over your life because burdens will be lifted off your shoulders, situations and circumstances will give way and principalities and powers on seeing him with you will bow because He is their boss.

Dearly beloved, do not think that your enemy: the devil will happily allow you to dwell in the realm of joy. The devil will perform its primary function which is, to kill, to steal and to destroy your joy by painting ugly pictures of life, God and yourself. You must refuse to yield to his tricks by studying and encouraging yourself in the word of God. When you are joyful you will laugh at the devil and his tricks, why? Because you know that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Why would you laugh? you will laugh because you know that many are your afflictions as a righteous but God will see you through them all. You will laugh because, being joyful will perplex and confuse your enemy and it will flee. You will laugh because you know that being joyful elongates your life span.

BE JOYFUL, BE GLAD AND REJOICE FOR YOR FATHER IS IN CONTROL

PRAYER POINT: Oh Lord my God, release the Spirit of joy upon me to confuse my enemy. And let my positive results answer their mockery.
