May Day 28 Tuesday
THE VISION IS MY STRENGTH
MAIN TEXT: HEBREW 11:27
―By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the King: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible‖.
Acts 18:9-10 ―Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, be not afraid but speak, and hold not thy peace; for I am with thee and no man shall set thee to hurt thee…‖
Do you know that you were born with potentials to live an extraordinary life? And that your journey to extra ordinary living is about realizing your life’s vision? Hear this, when you discover God’s vision for your life, you will become more energized and excited to live each day.
A vision is a clear mental picture of a preferable future that gives an individual direction for his life. This direction only comes from God. But along this road, there are bumps; there are twists, thorns and forks. From our inside text, we notice that when God gives vision, He will be there to protect you and release the strength to carry the vision.
Paul’s ineffable vision of heaven strengthened him to endure much hardship and motivated his extraordinary labour for the gospel. When Moses got the vision of where God was taking them to, he endured the wrath of the King and focused only on the unseen glory.
Getting to higher grounds is a vision that is not devoid of painful sacrificial commitments to God’s glory. Nevertheless, be strengthened, for the vision will eventually take you to greater destiny.
AWAKE; THERE IS STRENGTH IN THE DISCOVERY AND PURSUIT OF VISION
Prayer Point
My Father, my father, give me the grace never to allow today‘s circumstances to keep me from moving towards tomorrow‘s promises, in Jesus name!
