BE CHRIST’S WITNESS
Main text: John 15:27 – “And you also will bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning “.
Luke 12:8 – “Also I say to you, whoever confesses me before men, him the son of man also will confess before the angels of God”.
Leading a soul to Christ is simply introducing our earthly friend to a heavenly Friend. Every Christian is a witness. Jesus Christ’s last command to the Christian community was to make disciples. God intends that every believer should know the unsurpassed joy of this experience of leading a soul to Christ.
Jesus said, “The fields are ripe unto harvest “. Who can afford to be selfish to the Gospel when such overwhelming evidence shows that so many people are hungry for God? Our inside text is here to tell us how desperate our Lord is, to see us as His witnesses.
He expects us to do it with the specific purpose of not missing a single opportunity to say a few words for Jesus wherever possible! This calls for a firsthand knowledge of Jesus Christ, which our new life experience in Christ settled for us as it gives an account of His love and forgiveness, both verbally and in the way we live our lives.
Beloved, remember that you are His hands, you are His feet, you are His eyes, you are His ears, and above all, you are His heart to love them enough to lead them to Christ.
IN THIS WICKED WORLD, “BE DIFFERENT, AND ANNOUNCE JESUS
Prayer: O Lord my Father, let the grace to remain Christ witness in season and out of season abide in me in JESUS NAME Amen!
