BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
MAIN TEXT: ISAIAH 10:27 – And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Acts 10:38 – How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Speaking to a large audience, Evangelist D.L. Moody held up a glass and asked, “How can I get the air out of this glass?” One man shouted, “Suck it out with a pump!” Moody replied, “That would create a vacuum and shatter the glass.” After numerous other suggestions Moody smiled, picked up a pitcher of water, and filled the glass. “There,” he said, “all the air is now removed.” He then went on to explain that victory in the Christian life is not accomplished by “sucking out a sin here and there,” but by being filled with the Holy Spirit.
You need the superlative power of the Holy Ghost to overcome the onslaught of Hell’s attacks! Just showing up in church is great. But, you need the baptism in the Holy Ghost if you are going to be a warrior in God’s Army and clean out all of the sin in your life.
Receive a fresh anointing right now! In Jesus’ wonderful Name!
Let the Holy Spirit revive your spirit and let the fountain of living water inside of you run over. There’s a river of life inside of you!
