GOD’S KINGDOM IS ADVANCING
MAIN TEXT: Matthew 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Acts 9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Our salvation is not just a ticket to heaven or a free pass to a comfortable life. We are ambassadors of God’s kingdom on earth. The Holy Spirit is the seal of our citizenship, and He empowers us to live out the values of the kingdom we represent.
What kind of people are God seeking for His kingdom advancement? These are people who are willing to commit to the divine purpose of the kingdom. Who are willing to commit to prayer, to faithful service and invest their time, talents, gifts and resources. Importantly, they must commit to one another in order to establish the teamwork necessary for the achievement of God’s unique goals.
Don’t underestimate the power of kingdom advancement prayers. Kingdom advancement prayers will keep on advancing the engaging believer until He sets us above all nations and dominion.
