DEVELOP YOUR POTENTIALS
MAIN TEXT – Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course and I have kept my faith
Expand your thinking through resourceful engaging of your mind, then the limitations of your mind will be conquered by you. Let us avoid making mistakes and giving excuses, but in the mistakes of our life, there should be lessons to be learned from them. Accept and determine to succeed because the successful mind is the key point to attaining good success in life. Develop a growth mindset and do not settle at the point that you achieved positive results.
The mindset of Apostle Paul is recommended for the Christian who desires to succeed – ‘I can do all things through Christ ‘. Your potentials are the definition of the strength of God, grow it and cultivate those potentials, and you will succeed beyond your imaginations. Every good thing that your hands are doing should be done very well. Give no room to procrastination and laxity. Be dedicated to your work and true success is achieved in the places of work and not on the bed of wishes. Whatever good that you desire, commit to God and pursue it diligently.
As the faithful stewards of God, we should be responsible for what is given to us. If it is worth doing, then it is worth giving the best to it. Excellence should be our target in the business and ministry of our life. Do not permit the devil to fool you in accepting mediocrity. Christian believers should set the pace for others to follow. The Apostle Paul made the closing statement in 2 Timothy 4:7, that he has finished his course and achieved great success, this is the pattern that God has set for us. We will joyfully retire from the work and will not be stranded or die on the assignment given to us.
