SO STRONG IN CHRIST
MAIN TEXT: ROMANS 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV)
JOB 19:25
For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. (NIV)
Being “so strong in Christ” means that you should be so strong in your faith, knowing that God is there to guide you. Job had strong faith in God to the extent that, when forces of darkness and pressures from his environment were against him, he was not moved by them, rather he said “I know my Redeemer lives.
Satan, your enemy, knows your weaknesses as a human being and wages war against you to make you to fall, and he does not joke about that. You need a stronger strength to fight this evil force. On your own you do not have the strength; therefore, you have to depend absolutely on Christ for strength, power, and grace to overcome the devil. God’s love and support is ever there. He will protect and shield you, and you need not be afraid.
The Apostle Paul in Romans 8:35 asked a question, “who shall separate us from the love of Christ…?” In other words, what can stop you and me from being so strong in Christ? All you need to do is to plug into the strength of Christ, love God with all your heart and you will be so strong, unshakable, and immovable in Christ.
WE CAN DO NOTHING BY OUR STRENGTH BUT THROUGH GOD
PRAYER: Oh Lord Jesus, strengthen me and let your strong hand support me. In Christ, my foundation is sure, no devil will destroy me in Jesus name Amen.
